The grand opening of the SKY Barrandov project
On October 25, 2016, the 1st stage of the SKY Barrandov development project was ceremoniously opened. The ceremony was also attended by the icon of Czech architecture, Professor Ing. arch. Eva Jiřičná, CBE, who participated in the project.
The program has started with a press conference, where it was possible to talk directly with the architect about the individual intentions and details of the building. The official opening then kicked off with an introductory speech by the representatives of the investor and the ceremonial cutting of the ribbon by the representatives of the investor and the designer, Ing. Bronislav Ciencala, Ing. Eduard Quitt, and prof. Ing. Eva Jiřičná CBE, and representatives of the general contractor, Ing. Stanislav Smugala and Tomáš Palkoska. The program also included tours of individual apartments and common areas of the house. The whole event was closed by a magnificent fireworks display.
During the event, the building was consecrated by the Roman Catholic priest Zbigniew Czendlik.
The fact that this is a truly unique project is suggested by the prestigious Real Estate Project of the Year 2015 award, given not only by architects but also by a professional jury, which the project can already be proud of.
Currently, our company is implementing the next stage of this project, which immediately follows the ceremoniously opened 1st stage. The total costs for both stages of the project amount to CZK 320 million excluding VAT.
