| Characteristics of construction | This project involved complex reconstruction a construction works on an existing ten-storey panel building, formerly used as an apartment-hotel with long-term leases of apartments, to a modern student’s dormitory with a total of 74 accommodation units. The construction works included demolition works, including static reinforcement of the structures and foundations, new partition walls and technical utility networks. Further, all surface finishing was done, including floors and facings. Due to the limited space of travelling routes inside the building it was demanding to manage the organization and coordination of all the investor-appointed contractors, particularly during the finalization stage. |
