| Characteristics of construction | The subject of this public contract was a newly built multi-purpose sports hall with facilities. It is a combination of a shop-type building with sports areas and a single-storey background facility building. The main volume of the sports hall (indoor facility), which covers the playing areas, consists of a system of prefabricated steel trusses. The envelope and roof of the sports hall is of painted PUR sandwich panels. The construction also included stands for 180 spectators and of four sports pitches for floorball/basketball, football, tennis and multipurpose court for badminton. The background is a single-storey object with flat roof. Outer background blocks are clad with facade boards. The project also included all operational technology and connections to public utilities, landscaping and surface finishes. |
