Modernization of the track section Brno Maloměřice – Brno Židenice

It is a comprehensive reconstruction and modernization of a railway track. The goal of the reconstruction is to increase the track speed, ensure the load rating class D4 and the passage gauge UIC GC. Ensure equipment of the line with such technological equipment that will provide full safety of operation at line speed up to 160 km/h. After the implementation the construction will meet the interoperability conditions.

The subject of the solution is to modernize the superstructure and substructure of the main line tracks, including the reconstruction of artificial structures. There will also be necessary adjustments of the station security equipment for the construction of a new electronic three-sign line signalling system in the section from Židenice to Maloměřice. The project includes communication equipment, high power technology, including CRT, adjustment of the traction line and power supply. The construction also includes noise protection measures.
