The signing of the work for work on the construction project “Modernization of the railway section Brno Maloměřice (inclusive) – Brno Židenice (exclusive)”

On Monday February 2, 2015 the client – Railway Infrastructure Administration, state organization, signed a contract for work on the implementation of the public contract “Modernization of the railway section Brno Maloměřice (inclusive) – Brno Židenice (exclusive),” with the contractor, company named RIDERA – PROMINECON CZ – ŽS KOŠICE, Brno Maloměřice-Židenice, whose leader, the main partner, is Ridera Stavební a.s.
The above construction project, whose financial value amounts to nearly 620 million, makes part of the so-called modernization of the railway junction of Brno, which makes part of the first railway corridor. The modernization of about three kilometres long railway section between Židenice and Maloměřice is the reconstruction of railway superstructure and substructure, including new safety equipment, allowing the trains to reach speeds of up to 160 kilometres per hour in the given section.
